About Our Pastor

Pastor Larry Elenbaum is originally from the State of Michigan. At 19 he moved to Sarasota, Florida where he came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour through a teen ministry. He studied at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina, receiving a B.S. in Biblical Education in 1976. In 1981, he received a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia as well as a Master of Divinity Degree in 1983. Pastor Elenbaum has done graduate work at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford, in the United Kingdom and is currently a doctoral candidate at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
He and his wife Betsy have three children, Bryan, Andrew, and Stephanie. All are grown and married. The Elenbaums have been blessed with six grandchildren.
Pastor Elenbaum loves to read, is a notorious Anglophile, and has been known to wear a kilt from time to time (his mother was a Scot). He is an avid bicycle enthusiast, and loves to golf when he can.
